When my oldest was a baby, she was gifted a pair of chunky fabric bootees that were adorable on her chubby feet. With this image in mind I began searching for a good pattern, I found loads of great patterns. They all came short in regards to my worsted cotton, and size 6 dpn’s though.
So came Leelee’s boots. There is no rocket science in these, I just wanted them to stay on, be cute, and work with her outfits. They are knit in the round, top down, use worsted weight, tie with i-cord, and hopefully stay on your little one’s feet as they do my own little Leelee’s feet. Added bonus she loves to play with them.
As always I’d love to see your projects; I’m available to answer any questions, and most importantly Happy Knitting!
*new size to come after Miss Pickle outgrows this size; she has peanut feet what can I say.
